Invacare Polaris
EX CPAP with SoftX
Designed to increase patient compliance,
the Invacare Polaris EX CPAP is equipped with a revolutionary
technology called SoftX, named after the soft exhalation
sensation it creates. SoftX makes breathing with CPAP
feel natural and more comfortable for patients. It achieves
this by tracking the patient's breathing pattern and
minimizing the work of breathing during exhalation.

Patent-pending SoftX Technology
makes exhalation effortless and more comfortable for
patients. SoftX works to reduce the duration of pressure
spikes at the beginning of exhalation often associated
with a standard CPAP.
It achieves
this by tracking the patient's breathing pattern and
minimizing the work of breathing during exhalation.
To ensure ultimate comfort for
the patient, there are three SoftX settings available:
Minimum, Mid-Range, and Maximum. The SoftX setting does
not affect the set therapy pressure, as the pressure
at the patient's mask remains constant.

The addition of humidification during CPAP therapy
can help eliminate dry nose and throat discomfort
and reduce nasal swelling. Invacare offers both
heated and passover humidification options.
